This 6×2 direct linkage kit is supplied ‘ready-to-fit’ the Edelbrock X1 ram 6×2 intake and others with dimensions as given above. If in doubt, measure your manifold spacing.

The back-bar element comprises two unique low-line brackets with rolled ends and Oilite self-lubricating bushes, sized ready to go. Supported at four points for zero flex, the stainless steel back-bar shaft comes with two end stops to prevent lateral movement.

The carburetors are connected through six 9091K Superlink throttle levers with swivels – including two special swivels to mount the rod ends – plus two long link rods. The kit comes with four Stromberg ‘Snapback’ throttle return springs.

The connection to your throttle pedal linkage is via one of the two long back-bar levers, or a further one (Stromberg kit 9096K) added anywhere along the back-bar shaft to align with your ‘pull’ point. Stromberg recommends a mechanical pedal link for all multi-carb systems.

NOTE: This kit will not fit Holley or Edelbrock 94 carburetors as the idle mix screws are on the back where the brackets fit on the 97.
